Dario Scodeller is associate professor of Design at the architecture department at the Università degli Studi di Ferrara. A design historian and architect, after graduating from Venice and various educational and research experiences at IUAV, from 1990 until 2000 he was a designer at the Venetian company Coin SpA (later Gruppo Coin), working on the conception and implementation of numerous exhibition concepts and studying new models of visual communication of the product. In the same capacity, he also worked on exhibition and retail design as a consultant for Fabrica and Archiroom. He has taught at various universities, including the Politecnico di Milano and the Design degree in San Marino, where he was director from 2014-2015. His writing has been featured in "Casabella", "Abitare", "Luce e design" and "Domus". In "Design spontaneo" (2017) , he shows the reader, with an interdisciplinary approach which is is typical of his approach to design, the places from everyday life that give rise to a curious affection towards the object and its meaning.
