Marco Romanelli

An architect (Trieste, 1958), he graduated in Genoa. He works in design, interior architecture and exhibit design. He has been editor of "Domus" (1986-1994) and "Abitare" (1995-2007) magazines. In 2000, he curated the III Edizione of 'AV Aperto Vetro' at the Venice Biennale; in 2011, he played a part in the restoration of the Museo della Civiltà Romana. He has worked with Marta Laudani since 1988 at the Laudani & Romanelli studio in Rome and Milan. Together, the pair have completed projects for Arflex, Driade, Fontana Arte, Oluce, Fiam and in 2014, they took part in the Venice Architecture Biennale in the 'Notizie dall'Interno' section. Their interior design works have been featured in leading international design magazines. Among the works they have written together are "Gli Spazi del cucinare. Appunti per una storia italiana 1928-1957" and "Design Nord-Est".
