Igor Tuveri was born in Sardinia in 1958. He has been working for the past twenty years as a comic-strip writer. In 1985, along with Brolli, Carpinteri, Iori and Mattotti, he founded the group Valvoline. An eclectic artist, besides comic strips he made cartoons, records and music videos all over the world. He founded the group Los Caballeros ex Confusional Quartet (a historical band of Italian electronic music) with Marco Bertoni and Enrico Serotti. A knowledgeable authority of comic strips, Igor published his work in Europe, America and Japan where he lived for a long time and where he was known as the first Western manga artist.
