Silvana De Mari
Silvana De Mari was born in 1953 in Caserta and now lives on the hill of Turin. She was a surgeon both in Italy and Ethiopia, as a volunteer, but then, when she realized that the illnesses of the soul can be no less devastating than those of the body, she has dealt with psychotherapy. Her main hobby is getting angry and to do something with it she started writing about injustice, persecutions, discrimination and rebellion, as an outlet for her rage. In her L’Ultimo Elfo, she sheds a dim light on an elf, whom she describes as pitiful and different, and who could be the last specimen of his kind.
