Roberto Costantini

Roberto was born in Tripoli, Libya, in 1952. An engineer and company consultant, he worked for several Italian and international companies in the plant engineering field. He completed a Master's in Science Management at Stanford, California. He became a writer by necessity: «for years my job as an engineer and consultant forced me to travel extensively by plane. Not to get bored, over a period of ten year, I wrote notes here and there, with a pen. Then, during a sleepless year, I typed everything on a computer. Marsilio (the publishing house) liked this». Tu sei il male, the first volume of a trilogy in progress, won the Scerbanenco Prize as best first book and the Azzeccagarbugli Prize at Romanzo Poliziesco. Currently, Costantini is executive director of Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, where he also teaches a Master's course in Business Administration.
