Born in Nogara near Verona in 1975, Alessandro Sanna is a painter and an illustrator who lives in Verona. After getting his diploma from Istituto d'Arte in Castelmassa (RO) and graduating in Graphic Design at Istituto Superiore di Graphic Design A.Palladio in Verona, he taught Illustration at Istituto Palladio in Verona. He holds workshops on drawing and painting in local schools, libraries and cultural events both in Italy and abroad. He was awarded the Andersen Prize for the Best Book in 2006 with Hai mai visto Mondrian?, edizioni Artebambini. He won the same prize in 2009 as Best Illustrator.
