Paolo Giordano

Born in Turin in 1982, Paolo Giordano won the Strega Prize 2008 with his first novel, La solitudine dei numeri primi. After his master's degree in Phisics of Fundamental Interactions at the University of Turin, he obtained a doctorate in the same university in 2010. On occasion of a project funded by the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, he is studying the properties of bottom quark. Besides being a scientist, Giordano also dealt with writing, studying at Holden School. He also published the story La pinna caudale, published on edition 41 (January-March 2008) of the magazine Nuovi Argomenti, in a supplement focused on the Italian authors born in the 80's.
