Raul Pantaleo was born in Milan in 1962. An architect and a graphic designer, he works in Venice where he founded the studio TamAssociati. He has been working in the shared bioecological planning and social communication, collaborating with the tertiary. Strongly committed to the Emergency projects, he planned various health centres in many African countries, including the Salam Centre in Kartoum, participating at Biennale di Venezia in 2010. Together with her colleague Marta Gerardi, after spending many years in Africa he produced Freetown, «a reportage where the borders between intellectual and didactic comic strip merge» (Internazionale). In 2013, always together with Marta Gerardi and architect Luca Molinari, he produced Architetture resistenti, followed in 2015 by Terre perse. Un viaggio nell'Italia del dissesto e nella speranza and in 2019 by Architettura della felicità. Futuro come sostanza di cose sperate.
