A librarian, anthropologist and expert of children's literature and illustration, Vera Salton works at Il Treno di Bogotà bookshop in Vittorio Veneto, winner of the 2008 Andersen Prize for Best Children's Bookshop in Italy. She also runs workshops in schools and nurseries. Speaker in children's books and reading pleasure refresher courses, since 2001 she has collaborated with Andersen, il mondo dell'infanzia. She also reads and narrates in public: in her readings, she pays particular attention to social, multicultural and environmental issues.
