Graduated in 1977 in Italian Literature at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, with a historical dissertation on the courtesan poet Veronica Franco, since 1980 she has worked at Venice State Archives as scientific and technical employee and as professor of Diplomatics at Scuola di Peleografica in Venice and Mantova. In the last few years she published "Donne di Venezia", a catalogue of the documentary exhibition in Cà Pesaro, Venice, March-April 2012, "I meriti delle donne. Profili di arte e storia al femminile dai documenti dell'Archivio di Stato di Venezia (secoli XV-XVIII)", a catalogue of the exhibition at Palazzo Mocenigo, March-June 2014, "Per il bene della pace. Il lungo cammino verso l'Europa dalla pace di Bologna alla Dichiarazione dei diritti dell'uomo (1530-1789)", a catalogue of an exhibition at Palazzo Ducale, Venice, October 2014 until April 2015, under the auspices of the President of the Italian Republic.
