The Italian journalist Christian Elia has reported in more than 40 countries. For nine years he has been a correspondent in the Middle East, the Balkans and the Mediterranean for PeaceReporter and E-il mensile. He is the author of the books Oltre i muri and Storie in fuorigioco (which has been adapted into a play) and of the documentaries The Empty House (with Gianluca Cecere, Angelo Miotto, Claudia Pozzoli) and A different crisis. In 2017, with the colleague Cecilia Dalla Negra and the photographer Gianluca Cecere, he realized the reportage Walking The Line. 1967-2017, fifty years after the Six-Day War. Thanks to his major works he won the Premio Baldoni, the Premio Giornalisti del Mediterraneo, the IMMaginario DOC Festival, a special mention at the Siani Reportage Prize and the Premio 'il Reportage'. In addition to co-editing the online magazine Q Code Magazine, he contributes to a number of leading Italian newspapers.
