A conversation about literature and screenwriting.
Marcelo Figueras is an Argentinian multifaceted author: a writer and journalist who has worked in the movie industry too. He wrote several screenplays, including one from his novel Kamchatka (2002) who consecrated him to international success. His latest novel, Aquarium (2015), is the result of his experience as a war correspondent in Israel and Palestine during the Second Intifada, and has been recently translated into Italian. We talked with him about writing, how journalism and screenwriting flow together in his novels, and then the children: "very strong human beings" with a very strong hope.
