"Even if every country does reduce its carbon dioxide emissions, that's still not enough to reduce the warming rate of the climate to the point where it won't be a disaster. We will get a disaster if we just try to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

What we have to do is more than that: we have to actually take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere which means a major research project to find way to absorb carbon dioxide chemically and then take it out of the atmosphere."
