Wlodek Goldkorn, a journalist, senior editor of L'Espresso, a weekly for which he used to work as a New York correspondent before. After leaving Poland in 1968, he moved to Florence, where he currently lives. He published essays and books on Eastern Europe, the Jews and Israel. In the 80's, he was the founder and publisher of magazines on Central and Eastern Europe,L'ottavo giorno and L'Europa ritrovata. He co-authored with Rudi Assuntino the book Il Guardiano. Marek Edelman racconta. In Il bambino nella neve (2016 and 2018) he wakes the memories of his parents, survived to the horrors of World War II.
