Francesca Capossele was born in Ferrara. Her debut as an author came in adulthood with the 2017 release of 1972, a story of love, friendship and loss that unites the destinies of two hopeful teenagers from the Italian countryside with the daughter from a bourgeois family from Bologna, against the backdrop of the seventies, filled with cultural unrest and painful transformations.
