Luigi Caracciolo, born in Ariano Irpino in 1954, lives and worksin Mantua. He has been deputy police commissioner in the Italian Police since 1983 and he held educational training at FDE Institute in Mantua. As an expert of police and crime Literature, he has been a member of various panels for literary prizes for noir and he introduces books and crime writers for various events including Festivaletteratura, I Sapori del Giallo, Premio Franco Fedeli, Festival Mediterraneo del Giallo e del Noir.
