Marco Archetti was born in Brescia in 1976. His debut in fiction dates back to 2004 with his sensational novel Lola motel after living for a while in Cuba. In 2005 he published Vent'anni che non dormo and took part in Scritture Giovani with his tragic-comic story Jet-Lag. In the same year he moved to Rome which inspired him to write Maggio splendeva, a book set during Fascism, where by blending history and narrative he was able to comment on contemporary Italy. In 2009 he wrote Gli asini volano alto and read it with Stefano Benni in an unforgettable first issue published in Florence. In 2011 he published Sabato, addio, the first novel of a trilogy set in Brescia in different eras, followed in 2013 by Sette diavoli the second chapter of this trilogy.
