Silvia Vecchini (Perugia, 1975) is the author of stories for younger readers, books that explore works of art, novels for children, poetry collections and comics. She writes scripts for comics and magazines and activities aimed at children and teenagers. Some of his books have been translated in France, Spain, Poland, South Korea and other countries. She designs courses for schools, meets children at the library and in bookshops for readings and writing workshops. She has created literary works for toddlers together with the illustrator Sualzo. The most recent ones are: 21 giorni alla fine del mondo (Il Castoro, 2019); the novel Prima che sia notte (Bompiani, 2020 and 2023); Le parole possono tutto (Il Castoro, 2021); Quello nuovo (Il Castoro, 2021); I bambini si rompono facilmente (Bompiani, 2023).
