Born in Rome in 1980, is a correspondent for the magazine Internazionale, where she has worked since 2007. Since 2014, she has been following migrants traveling to and through Europe, reporting on their routes and sharing their personal stories. She has previously worked for RaiNews24 and the Rome bureau of the Associated Press. In 2019, she published the book La legge del mare. Cronache dei soccorsi nel Mediterraneo with Rizzoli. Since 2021, her career has expanded with further milestones, starting with hosting successful podcasts such as Limoni (2021, on the G8 summit in Genoa), Da Kiev (2022), Giornaliste, and Taccuini. Her investigative reports were also compiled into the single volume Un giorno senza fine. Storie dell'Ucraina in guerra (Ponte alle Grazie, 2022). In 2023, she published the children's book L'ultimo bisonte (La Nuova Frontiera Junior), followed in 2026 by the essay-pamphlet Divieto di protestare (Einaudi).
