Eugenia Giancaspro, aka Antigone (Benevento, 1990) is a clinical linguist, LIS (Italian Sign Language) interpreter, and performer. In 2008, she moved to Padua to pursue her studies in Modern Literature, later graduating in Linguistics for Deafness and Language Disorders from the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. Since 2016, she has been working in the fields of deafness, social inclusion, and education. As a LIS slammer since 2018, she has organized and translated poetry events and workshops in sign language. She frequently travels for performing poetry festivals both in Italy and abroad.
