Giuseppe Peveri (Fidenza, 1976), widely known by his stage name Dente, is an Italian singer-songwriter and writer. A prominent figure on the new indie pop scene, he first approached music by playing guitar in several bands, later debuting as a solo artist in 2006 with the album Anice in bocca. His success was consolidated with his subsequent studio album, L'amore non è bello (2009), characterized by an intimate writing style rich in wordplay that established his popularity with the general public. Over the years, these early efforts were followed by seven more albums, including the most recent Hotel Souvenir (2023) and Santa Tenerezza, released in March 2025 under INRI Records/Metatron. In 2015, he published the collection Favole per bambini molto stanchi with Bompiani, and he regularly collaborates with various newspapers, magazines, and radio programs.
