-> The square is located behind the Rotonda di San Lorenzo and Piazza Erbe.
-> The square is flat. The pavement is made of porphyry setts. In some areas, the surface may be slightly uneven, making it a bit difficult to move around.
-> Some concerts will take place here. There will be no seating for the audience, who will therefore watch the events while standing.
It is situated behind Piazza Erbe and offers a fine view of the right-hand side of the Palazzo della Ragione, of the Torre dell'Orologio and of the Rotonda di S. Lorenzo, this latter being a circular Romanesque church dating back to 1082, which was commissioned by Matilde di Canossa. It is the oldest church of Mantova.
