Accessibility information:

-> The main access to Piazza Castello is from Piazza Giovanni Paccagnini and Piazzetta Santa Barbara.

Historically known as Prato di Castello, Piazza Castello is located at the centre of the Gonzaga Palace complex, and it is the largest open space within the Palazzo Ducale area. Surrounded by elegant arcades dating back to the late 5th century, the square is now used for shows and manifestations.
